New Treat Recipe from Maddy Greyhound

Maddy:  I love cookies.  Any time, any where... but sometimes its nice to try out a new recipe so when I came across this one, I thought I would share it with my other cookie-loving friends.

Oatmeal Pumpkin Ginger Cookies

1 cup pure canned pumpkin

1- 1 1/2 cup of oatmeal flour
1 1/2 Tbsp molasses
1/4 tsp powdered ginger
2 Tbsp ground flaxseed

Mix ingredients together. Add oatmeal flour.  Roll into balls and flatten or roll out and cut into desired shape.  Bake at 175 -200 F for about an hour and a half.  Then leave in the oven to cool and get crunchie.

Mum hasn't actually made them for me, I mean us, yet.  But she did buy the molasses, so I guess that's a start....

  1. Freedom, Casper & Nikki love biscuits. These sound super yummy. Please let us see them after your mom whips some up.

  2. Maddy, you are beautiful! We need to buy everything for this recipe, so it might be a while before we try them. LOL

  3. Beautiful girl. My pups would love these cookies. I think I even have a can of pumpkin onhand. I'll have to try this recipe.

  4. With a face like that, how could she not bake you cookies?

  5. Mmm, I think I'd probably eat more of these than Frankie and Beryl! They sound really good.

  6. Hmmmm molasses, I wonder if we can get them here.....Will get Mum to check. And ginger, never thought of that! Mum! It's cookie making time...!

  7. Great idea giving us the recipe!

  8. Oh, those sound yunmy! Thanks for the tip, Maddy!
