Maddy's Day

Where are we going Mom?
Maddy here to tell you about my exciting day... Momma and I snuck out of left the house early this morning to take a drive to my Nanny's house for Mother's Day.  I was happy to go because I'd never been to Nanny and Grampy's house before. 


 I was even more pleased to see they had a welcome present for me on the back lawn when I got there, but then Momma said the cat was not for me.  It belonged to the neighbour...


There is so much action out the front window. My eyes were going every which way.  It was exhausting work trying to take it all in. 

This is me in front of the little house and kennel that had belonged to my Nanny's dog, Daisy,
that passed away recently. 


Momma said she was very proud of me because I was such a good girl and I was only scared of the Grampy man for a couple seconds.  Then he gave me some treats and I decided he wasn't scary afterall. 


Visiting is fun but exhausting.

    I hear you on that Miss Maddy! I like visiting, too, but it can wear a hound out. I was not amused when they told me I couldn't have the cat at Grandma's house, either. The thing was even picking on poor little Drake!

    Lol at your gift, Maddy. Beryl and Frankie would have liked to been there with you:) Sounds like you had a lovely visit and treats too, yum. Glad you like Grampy. Daisy was deeply loved looking at her beautiful house. There's nothing like a day out to make you tired, or 2 days out in Frankie's case:)
