Three days of mid 20 degrees made fast work of our snow and the hounds approve. We spent most of Saturday outside enjoying it. I think I walked each one of them for almost an hour, which was almost three hours for me! Needless to say, but my legs were tired after that was over but I like to walk them separately sometimes just to spend some special "alone" time with each of them.
Sunday I started some "spring" cleaning. That's what I will call it, although I don't know if it counts as that when it really is just that I haven't be keeping up with it lately. Beckett is just as tired from that as his walk yesterday. He follows me from room to room to room. Well, except for when I go down to the laundry room, since he won't go down those stairs, but he does wait at the top for me to come back. Then he looks at me as if to say, "Come on, sit down on the couch with me, I need a nap!". I almost gave in a few times, believe me.
I love how you like to have alone time with each of the hounds. Amazing how fast the snow went! :)
ReplyDeleteI think this was the quickest snow melt I have ever seen. Not that I'm complaining, but I guess there was some flooding in places.
DeleteLike the way the pics are progressively less ear. Two ears up, then one, then both half-mast. My special time with the kid is to take naps with each of them :)
ReplyDeleteI'd like to say I planned that ear thing, but that would take more thought than I put into my picture taking. :). My nap time ends up being with ALL of them.
DeleteGreat photos! Our kids love to go for a walk, but after an hour we would carrying them home! I would be exhausted after 3 hours too!
ReplyDeleteI took my cell phone with me, just in case I had to call Darren for a drive. The last walk with Veil, I thought about calling him for myself, LOL.
DeleteLovely pictures! This year, I'm thinking about walking my three individually. Last year, I would take them all out at once and I really did not enjoy it; and heaven help me if "we" spotted a squirrel.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh about Beckett. Casper does the same with me. The two girls will lay down but Casper follows me from room to room until he wears himself out.
Once in awhile I will walk all three, but I really don't like it. I don't feel like I have good enough control in case something (like a squirrel, rabbit or loose dog) surprised us.
DeleteMine follow me around too. They all look so happy to be out in the sun. Maddy has a great shadow.
ReplyDeleteFunny how a little sun can perk up humans and hounds alike!
DeleteNice photos! Wow is is so different looking at your photos with no snow!!!! So your temps where in the mid 20's - is that F or C?
ReplyDeleteNina, Myshka, Sasha, Betsy, Lucy, Phoebe and Lily
That would be celcius. Very weird for this earlier in the year but we are getting snow again tonight, :(.
DeleteWhat beautiful photos! I'm glad you're finally starting to see some Spring up near you. I almost feel guilty with all of our pictures lately when I see your snow! lol I am sure Morgan will be with me every step of the way when I start straightening up, too!
ReplyDeleteWe were glad too, but we are getting some more tonight. At least now we know it won't last long! Beckett's supervision of my cleaning really wasn't as helpful as he thought, LOL. Happy to know that you get supervised too!
DeleteBeautiful photos! Love those sun shiny days! :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks lovely. Mum says that often, a greyhound is an excuse to do very little. Like she needs an excuse. Hehe! Deccy x
ReplyDeleteThat's true, Deccy but maybe your Mum does everything while you are napping so you just don't notice?
