Happy Canada Day and 4th of July Weekend!

Happy long weekend!  Mr. J had to work today so I thought it would be a good time to replenish the doggy cookie jar.

Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Treats

How much longer!!
The left over pumpkin was a big hit with the crowd.

Then we had a new neighbour come to visit...

New neighbour

And they all just wanted to go down and meet him but no luck getting the gate on the deck opened.  Maybe next time.
If only I was a little smaller!

How does this open anyway?

Are we doing something fun today?

Hope everyone is having some fun this weekend!

  1. Pumpkin treats? I'll be right over!

We have the world's stupidest rabbit and his family living here! He lives under the bayberry bush by the front porch. Morgan almost got him one day and Dad yanked her out of the bush with tail fur stuck between her teeth. Five minutes later, he was back! He's begging to be rabbit stew if you ask me. We really need to start some sort of network for hounds tormented by small furry things!

  3. Hi Y'all,

Oh, that is so cute. Those cookies look delish enough for humans.

When we had our Basenji, we let her chase rabbits because they ran in circles. One day she actually caught up to one. It stopped and sat totally still. She was so confused. She finally poked it with her paw. It started off again and she was happily after it.

Have a GREAT holiday weekend y'all!
