Deccy and Beccy's Excellent Adventure

Hi All, Beckett here.  Hope you all have heard that I'm going on an adventure with my best bud, Declan.  I've been practicing my driving for our trip around the Cabot Trail, although so far, I haven't been very successful. I still have a few days left, but maybe a learner's permit is all I will have!

If anyone would like to follow our adventure on Facebook, you can do so here: http://www.facebook.com/events/410656105691887/.  We will be posting updates every so often.

Wish us luck because I think we will need it!

The First Time I Saw Your Face

I was recently reading a blog post over at What Remains Now about Freedom, Casper and Nikki's adoption photos and it inspired me to go back and hunt out the first photos I had ever seen of Veil, Beckett and Maddy.

Beckett at his foster home.

Miss Veil's adoption group photo. Sorry, Miss Veil...this is not the most attractive picture...

Maddy in the prison yard and her adoption group photo.
and now...

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Maddy:  Enough shenanigans, Mum...there had better be treats in that pot of gold at the end of your entertainment!

Playing Catch-Up!.

First we had this little tree incident... luckily we weren't out there at the time!

Then we thought Spring was coming early...

and then this happened!

Beckett looks like he feels about the same as I do about the snow.

Veil finally got her leopard print pink jammies.

Maddy doesn't mind winter, except for wearing coats or boots... She's just happy there are no buzzing flying bugs.

Ground Hog's Day

We look good together!

We were all wishing for the end of winter and then we thought, what better way to insure that happened than befriending a groundhog.  You may have heard that Declan and his Mum have become quite close with Shubenacadie Sam so we called up Deccy and he was willing to come over and get everyone together for a conference.  After plying Sam with his favorite melon, some contractual negotiations on both sides, Sam agreed to not see his shadow on February 2nd, thereby proclaiming an early spring and we agreed not to chase any of his relatives.  We shall see tomorrow if ground hogs can be trusted!
