The First Time I Saw Your Face

I was recently reading a blog post over at What Remains Now about Freedom, Casper and Nikki's adoption photos and it inspired me to go back and hunt out the first photos I had ever seen of Veil, Beckett and Maddy.

Beckett at his foster home.

Miss Veil's adoption group photo. Sorry, Miss Veil...this is not the most attractive picture...

Maddy in the prison yard and her adoption group photo.
and now...

  5. I LOVE your title for this post! It is so interesting to see the pups when they first came off the tracks. Those personalities just bloom with a little bit of love and pampering. What a sweet bunch

  6. Poor veil looks like she is being strangled and maddy is so thin. I don't think we always notice the changes as they are so subtle but when you see those photos, it's amazing. They just ooze contentment now!

  7. Such pretty pups. Just a little whiter in the face now.

  8. I remember how they felt so insecure when they were being checked out by prospective adopters! We have to have faith that they are going to open their hearts to us!
