Ground Hog's Day

We look good together!

We were all wishing for the end of winter and then we thought, what better way to insure that happened than befriending a groundhog.  You may have heard that Declan and his Mum have become quite close with Shubenacadie Sam so we called up Deccy and he was willing to come over and get everyone together for a conference.  After plying Sam with his favorite melon, some contractual negotiations on both sides, Sam agreed to not see his shadow on February 2nd, thereby proclaiming an early spring and we agreed not to chase any of his relatives.  We shall see tomorrow if ground hogs can be trusted!

Waist Lines

Show Off Your Dog's Waistline

Miss Veil

Maddy (middle)

Beckett

Veil does the downward dog yoga move to keep her fine physique.

Maddy from the side, she could probably stand to lose a couple pounds but once the winter is over and she can run around again, she will quickly lose it.

Maddy seems to think this "show us your waistline" idea should work for both sides of the camera.  Uh, no...sorry Maddy...

Beckett says he has been on a diet and he wants everyone to know that horizontal brindles surely add 5 pounds to the photo....

Just so you know we are still here....

Seems like we haven't had much going on to post about since the holidays, so I thought we would just show you that we are still here.

Hopefully something exciting will happen soon...

Veil's Take on Christmas

By Miss Veil

So Christmas has come and gone for another year and I can't say that I'm sorry.  Oh I know, it's a magical time of year and all that...but there just seems to be a lot of hustle and bustle.  I'm really not a hustle and bustle type of girl.

I was so excited when I got a package all the way from the UK with a lovely pink bandana in it.  OK, so maybe Maddy and Beckett each got one too.  Thank you Deccy, we love them and they match our collars perfectly!

Although it appears like Santa didn't get my message about wanting more time for belly rubs and snuggling on the couch; Mum says not to give up yet.  Now that the shopping and cooking and eating and visiting are done, that gift is coming.

Sounds like New Year's Eve is going to the dogs and I couldn't be happier about it.
